ADSB Student Well-Being Survey

hands up imageEvery two years schools in the Algoma District School Board (ADSB) facilitate the ADSB Student Well-Being Survey. This is our Board’s version of the school climate survey. The last survey was completed in 2019. After 16 months of COVID-19 precautions and restrictions this is an opportunity to check-in on our students. Compared to the 2019 survey and based on student feedback after the last survey, this year’s survey continues to focus on well-being, is shorter, has COVID-19 and virtual learning specific questions, and does not include a student census. Five age and grade appropriate survey versions have been created including:
• JK/SK
• Grades 1-3
• Grades 4-6
• Grades 7-8
• Grades 9-12

Information collected in each year’s surveys will assist schools and the ADSB in planning for a successful re-opening to in-person learning in September.

All individual responses are confidential and most survey questions have a “Prefer not to Answer” response if a student wants to skip a question.

While the survey is voluntary, we encourage all students to participate to give us the most accurate feedback possible to assist in our re-opening in September.  Please connect with your school Principal if you have any questions.

PLEASE NOTE:  THE PDFs BELOW ARE SAMPLES OF THE SURVEYS THAT STUDENTS WILL BE RECEIVING IN THE NEXT FEW DAYS FROM THEIR TEACHERS.
