In Their Own Words - Elder Willard Pine

Willard Pine is a beloved and respected Anishinaabe (Ojibway) elder from Garden River First Nation as was his father Dan Pine. His great-grandfather Shingwaukonse was the Garden River Chief who signed the Robinson-Huron Treaty at Sault Ste. Marie in 1850.
