Highlights & Testimonials!
ADSB is proud to share that recently, two of our Hockey Canada Skills Academy students have been drafted to the OHL and a third has been offered a 4 year university athletic scholarship! These students attributed their improved skills and competitive edge, in large part, to their time spent with ADSB’s Hockey Canada Skills Academy.

Connor Toms
Drafted 3rd round, 44th overall ~ Soo Greyhounds (OHL)
“Being able to work on my skills with amazing instructors allowed me to improve my game. It was always fun to go to the rink for my first class.”

Jared Coccimiglio
Drafted 10th round, 188th overall ~ Owen Sound Attack (OHL)
"I firmly believe that there are very few, if any, programs that resemble the setup, structure and focus on development of the ADSB's academy; not only in Ontario but throughout the country. The Hockey Canada Skills Academy has been an integral part in my development as a hockey player and as a person, and I don't believe that I would be at the point I am today if I did not have that experience."

Brielle Caruso
Signed 4 year athletic scholarship commitment ~ University of Guelph Gryphons (OUA)
Will play in the provincial women’s hockey league (PWHL) for the London Develettes in 2020-21
“The ADSB Hockey Canada Skills Academy helped me work on the little things that teams don’t have time to spend on in practice. The repetitions in shooting, puck handling, and skating edges really helped develop my game and gave me the needed edge to compete for a university scholarship. The staff is amazing and I could see everyone getting better and having fun. I wish I had the opportunity to do this earlier.”

More from Jared Coccimiglio
"Moving from Toronto to the Soo was obviously a major decision. I don't know if it would have happened if it wasn't for Mr. Caruso and the ADSB Hockey Canada Skills Academy. It turned out to be both the best thing for my hockey, and the best decision I have made for my life. The elite level coaching I received in the HCSA as well as with the Soo Jr Greyhounds Bantam AAA 04 team was some of the best I have ever received. Pro-level coaching from Jeff Toms, John Parco, Mike Cowan, Sarah Fewchuk, and Terry Barbeau helped me improve my skills on a daily basis and overall, improve as a player. I firmly believe that there are very few, if any, programs that resemble the setup, structure and focus on development of the ADSB's academy; not only in Ontario but throughout the country. The Hockey Canada Skills Academy has been an integral part in my development as a hockey player and as a person, and I don't believe that I would be at the point I am today if I did not have that experience. I gained lifelong mentors and friends, developed my skills and built character, which is something I will always remember and take pride in."
