Algoma District School Board (ADSB) is here to facilitate a smooth transition for students and families entering our schools from outside of Canada. Our goal is for all students and families who are new to Canada to have a successful start to their education with ADSB!
The first step for registering with the Algoma District School Board for students without Canadian citizenship documents, is to complete our student information form.
Upon receipt of the completed form, you will be contacted with registration instructions.
We register students throughout the school year, and you can start at any time (September – June).

This process applies to the following:
- you are a parent with a work permit
- you are a parent with a study permit
- you or your child is a permanent resident
- you or your child has a refugee claimant document
- you are a Canadian citizen but your child is not
